ProCredit Academy

The priority of internal promotion on management positions within the bank is one of the components of our strategy, thus offering colleagues transparent and equal development opportunities. Along with internal trainings, international training centres – ProCredit Academy Germany, Regional ProCredit Academy for Eastern Europe and ProCredit Language Centre – prepare employees with high potential to take up higher responsibilities by strengthening their personal qualities, their management abilities and their knowledge of foreign languages.

The purpose of the classes held in these international training centres is to develop theoretical knowledge, but also to facilitate the exchange between managers who operate in different contexts, but who face many similar challenges. Participants learn from the others’ experiences, they build global relationships and they get a deeper understanding of the group’s identity and common purpose.

I consider the ProCredit Academy to be a challenge, something that makes you better and stronger, asking a lot of you, but also bringing great satisfaction. For me, the academy is a professional and personal development opportunity and I am delighted with the possibility to meet new people, sometimes from very different cultures from mine, but to whom I am linked by the same system of values. Besides the ingenious methods of teaching, the academy offers an open environment where you can freely sustain your ideas and where discussions are constructive. I wish to continue on the professional path I have already started, to develop myself further and to contribute to ProCredit Bank with the same enthusiasm I had so far.

What I like most about the Regional Academy in Macedonia is the openness towards debate. The first work-group marked the first confrontation of ideas. You must bring strong arguments to support your opinions and you can not stay out because there is always something interesting to discuss. My colleagues are very open and communicative. It is surprising to find that, despite cultural and sometimes age differences, there are so many things that bring us together.
