What operations can you perform by using your current account?
Transfers in LEI
Payment Orders
If you are a current account holder and you want to pay an amount of money to another person, all you need to do is fill out a form (Payment Order) with your data and the data of the beneficiary:
- Payer’s surname and first name;
- Payer’s IBAN code;
- Beneficiary’s surname and first name;
- Beneficiary’s IBAN code;
- Beneficiary’s Bank;
- The amount that you want to transfer.
The money will reach the beneficiary the next day at the latest.
Standing Order
If you pay the same amount of money every month, either a loan instalment, or a monthly insurance premium, or TV or internet subscriptions, then you can use the standing order program. It is all very simple:
- You only sign one form;
- There are no additional costs for the activation of this service;
- You can modify the amount at any moment;
- You avoid going to the bank or the counters of other institutions every month.
Foreign Currency Transfers
FX Payments / Collections
- If you want to send an amount of money in foreign currency to a person from the country or abroad, you fill out a single form (External Payment Statement – EPS) with your data and the data of your beneficiary;
- ProPay transfers, in EUR or USD are a distinct category. They can be performed by clients of the banks from the ProCredit network (Romania, Serbia and Montenegro, Macedonia, Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kosovo, Albania and Bulgaria);
- Fees are low, and the money is cashed on the same day;
- For foreign currency collections, ProCredit Bank does not charge a fee, and clients can have the received funds at their disposal immediately. For foreign currency collections received from non-residents, resident clients have the obligation of filling out the External Payment Statement, within 10 calendar days from the date when the account was credited;
Foreign Exchange
- Any resident or non-resident individual can perform foreign exchange operations at any of the ProCredit Bank’s cashier desks;
- In order to be able to perform the foreign exchange, the applicant must show their identity document/passport;
- The currencies that can be sold/bought at the foreign exchange office are EUR and USD;
- The maximum amount that can be exchanged at ProCredit Bank Romania isEUR 10,000 / USD 10,000;
- The foreign exchange office does not accept coin deposits.
MoneyGram
- MoneyGram is a service which addresses individuals, and enables fast money transfers to be performed between the agents of the system (over 60,000 agents from over 160 countries);
- The sender goes to any MoneyGram agent, with their identity document or passport, fills out a sending form and receives a reference number;
- In order to be able to collect the amounts sent via MoneyGram, the beneficiary needs to prove their identity and know the reference number. Depending on the sent amount, other information may be requested;
- Regardless of the currency sent from the country of origin to Romania, the amount received by the beneficiary will be in EUR / RON/ USD, depending on their option;
- Only amounts in EUR can be sent from Romania.
Advantages of the MoneyGram system:
- Easy to use – it is not necessary to open an account in order to enjoy this service;
- Time saving – the amount is available within 10 minutes from the moment it is sent;
- The beneficiary does not pay any fee;
- Along with the money, you can also send messages of maximum 10 words from the orderer to the beneficiary;

You can access the MoneyGram service in all ProCredit Bank locations.
Fees:
- The beneficiary does not pay any fee when collecting the amount in EUR;
- If the beneficiary wants to collect the amount in a currency other than the EUR, the beneficiary can perform a foreign exchange operation, with 0% FX fee;
- The sender pays a sending fee, calculated on value ranges, depending on the transferred amount.
