ProCredit Bank ended Q3 of 2011 with a profit of EUR 3,5 million

ProCredit Bank Romania ended the third quarter of 2011 with a profit of Euro 3.5 million, according to local accounting standards. Between September 2010 and September 2011, the bank financed small businesses with over Euro 31 million currently reaching to a total of more than 80,000 customers. In terms of agriculture loans, ProCredit Bank has financed this sector by Euro 53.5 million in the first 9 months of the year, up by Eur 13.5 million compared to September 2010.

In terms of funds raised from the population, ProCredit Bank reached a volume of Euro 172 million in September 2011 , an increase of over 34% compared to the same period last year. The increase in this segment demonstrates that, as a German-owned bank, we enjoy the confidence of our clients and at the same time that we have managed to convey to people the importance of building solid savings, which they can base their future investments on. We enjoy a stable liquidity and last years of crisis were not an exception, which allows us to continue our activity in a normal way and serve business customers without restriction of maturity or type of product offered." In July 2011, ProCredit Bank has received confirmation of the rating for long term loans in Lei and foreign currency (BB+) by Fitch, with stable outlook, stressing the commitment that ProCredit Holding, the main shareholder, has in supporting the bank, and high quality portfolio of the bank, due mainly to financing businesses in production and the diversified structure of loans.
