You have decided to apply for a position at ProCredit Bank.

As an international company – ProCredit Holding AG in Frankfurt am Main, Germany is the majority shareholder of the 21 ProCredit banks) – we are looking forward to receiving your application and would like to familiarise you with the principles that shape our staffing policy and provide you with tips for a successful application process.

It is important for us to know your motives for applying to ProCredit. We therefore expect that you take the time to inform yourself about our company and to explain your reasons for applying. This is normally done by writing a motivation letter and attaching it to your CV. All relevant information about our group and your country’s ProCredit Bank can be found in multiple languages on the following webpage: www.procredit-holding.com.
We would also request a CV that is in line with the format depicted in Annex 1.
We take your application very seriously and we expect that you do the same. Using the recommendations above is a strong indication of this. Applications which could be sent out to 20 other companies and which do not discuss the candidate’s qualifications and motivation for the position at hand are looked very poorly upon.
Prior to a personal interview with our human resources department, we require candidates to complete a one-hour, written mathematics and logic test and one half an hour specific test for the position you have applied. Passing this test is necessary to move on to the next stage of the recruitment process. An example of such a test is provided in Annex 2.
We strive to present both the recruitment process and your possible career paths at ProCredit in the most transparent way. We place great emphasis on neutrality and objectivity in this process. As a potential employee of ProCredit Bank, you can and should take advantage of our training programme. Passing tests and participating in specialisation courses are important prerequisites for career advancement within our internationally-oriented company.
In addition to a so-called Maths-1 Test which you must pass during your probationary period, we also offer a Maths-2 and an accounting test. We do all that we can to assist you in preparing for the exam by providing in-house teaching staff and internally-developed teaching materials. Good knowledge of English is essential for management positions. For this purpose we also offer bank-internal English courses. For higher-level positions in the bank it is necessary to attend one of our Regional Academies or our Management Academy in Fürth, Germany.
As you can probably discern from this brief outline, we are in search of highly-motivated employees with a long-term commitment to the goals and objectives of our bank. We are willing to continuously facilitate your professional development, but in turn we will also expect a high standard of performance from you.
