UX / UI Designer for Innovation Hub
For our Innovation Hub, we are seeking a motivated UX / UI Designer
This position is based in Bucharest at ProCredit Bank Romania
The Innovation Hub in Bucharest will be responsible for developing, executing and continuously monitoring the implementation of the Groups and local ProCredit banks retail banking strategy, driving sustainable profitable growth in each country. The Innovation Hub will conduct market research, identify and implement best practice in retail banking covering exceptional customer-centricity, excellent customer service, customer acquisition & retention and digital solution innovation.
As UX / UI Designer, you will be responsible for defining and coordinating the design strategy of the user experience within the digital products and channels, ensuring consistency of interfaces, effective testing and implementation of best practices. The role involves facilitating interdepartmental collaboration and promoting best practices in retail banking.
Your role in our team:
- Performs behavioral analysis and market trends, identifying customer expectations, needs, and behaviors through qualitative and quantitative research.
- Monitors design and innovation trends in banking and digital
- Collaborate with business and marketing teams to integrate relevant insights into product design.
- Carry out the design of the experience and coherent interface, defining and coordinating the UX (user experience) and UI (interface) design for retail products, channels and processes.
- Performs behavioral analysis and market trends, identifying customer expectations, needs, and behaviors through qualitative and quantitative research.
- Ensure alignment between user flows, front-end interfaces, and business goals.
- Create and maintain reusable design systems and style guides.
- Coordinates usability testing and A/B testing for the validation of proposed solutions, analyzing test results and proposing continuous improvements.
- Collaborate with development teams to quickly integrate user feedback.
- Promotes best practices, guiding and supporting the Product Owner teams from all entities involved in the project in applying UX / UI principles.
What we expect:
- Higher education in design, computer science or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in UX / UI design, preferably in banking or fintech.
- Advanced knowledge of user research methodologies, design thinking and prototyping.
- Experience with design tools (Figma) and testing with clients
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, systems thinking and user orientation.
- Solid knowledge of retail banking products, digital channels and consumer behavior.
- Excellent interpersonal skills coupled with an ability to align business and technical stakeholders and drive results across functions
- An excellent command of written and spoken English, being the working language in the department and within the ProCredit group; knowledge of languages spoken in the countries in which the ProCredit group operates is an advantage
