Product Owner for Innovation Hub

For our Innovation Hub, we are seeking a motivated Product Owner

This position is based in Bucharest at ProCredit Bank Romania

The Innovation Hub in Bucharest will be responsible for developing, executing and continuously monitoring the implementation of the Groups and local ProCredit banks retail banking strategy, driving sustainable profitable growth in each country. The Innovation Hub will conduct market research, identify and implement best practice in retail banking covering exceptional customer-centricity, excellent customer service, customer acquisition & retention and digital solution innovation.

As Product Owner, you will be responsible for managing the development of key customer journeys and retail banking solutions, ensuring they deliver real value, meet user needs and support strategic priorities. You will drive product backlog management, lead requirement design and coordinate agile delivery across the Group and local teams

Your role in our team:

• Creating, prioritizing and managing the product backlog in alignment with strategic goals and stakeholder feedback
• Translating customer needs into clear actionable requirements by working closely with UX, business leads and stakeholders
• Leading the design of initiatives, ensuring a balance between business value, technical feasibility and customer experience
• Managing dependencies with other Product Owners (m/f/d) and teams to ensure end-to-end delivery of features and journeys
• Coordination of user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensuring high-quality delivery and a smooth rollout in close collaboration with the Group and local team

What we expect:

• A relevant university degree in business, IT, economics or related fields
• A minimum of 3-5 years professional experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst in a digital and agile environment
• Experience in designing solutions with user needs, journey quality and long-term value in focus
• Excellent interpersonal skills coupled with an ability to align business and technical stakeholders and drive results across functions
• Ability to comfortable manage backlogs, defining acceptance criteria and prioritizing based on value and effort
• An excellent command of written and spoken English, being the working language in the department and within the ProCredit group; knowledge of languages spoken in the countries in which the ProCredit group operates is an advantage
